I've been a member of the AOCC for 28 years and have served on the board for 25 years (25 years as Maintenance and 18 concurrently as President). I am married to my high school sweetheart (Amy) and have 3 kids and two cats. I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, biking, skiing and going to Tahoe.

Two fun facts about Dan: After college, I travelled around the US with my girlfriend (now wife!) and saw 26 of the 28 major league ballparks. I am a huge jigsaw puzzle and crossword puzzle fan. I've actually completed the world's largest jigsaw puzzle!

Hi, I’m Raj! Excited to be stepping in as the new VP of AOCC. My family and I have been members for the past four years, and it’s easily one of our favorite places to spend time together during the summers. You’ll usually find us at the pool with our three kids, and if I’m not in the water, I’m probably out on the grass in what I’d like to think is a very competitive cornhole game with the other dads.

I’m a husband, a dad of three, and I work locally as a Realtor. More than anything, we love the sense of community here. My goal this summer is simple—to help keep AOCC the kind of place where families can relax, kids can have a blast, and everyone feels at home.

I have loved swimming my whole life. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with people & learning new things. By volunteering my time here at AOCC, I engage in all three. I like to do bookkeeping, baking and spending time with friends & family.

Chris Thompson has been on our board since 2018 and a member of AOCC since 2016. His family has lived in the neighborhood since 2012. Born and raised in San Jose, Chris attended San Jose State and Santa Clara University. In his free time, Chris likes spending time with his family and biking up in the hills of Los Gatos and Almaden. He also enjoys watching the 49ers and occasionally attending a home game at Levi stadium.

My name is Becca (she/her) and I’m excited to serve as the Social Director at Almaden Oaks for the 2026 season. This is my second year on the AOCC board. Swimming has played an important role in my life and some of my favorite memories were made at my community pool growing up.

My name is Andrew and I will be completing my 5th year on the AOCC board. After having served for 4 years as Head Lifeguard, I took on the Vice President role, and now serve as Secretary. I grew up coming to the AOCC pool and swimming was an important part of my life, and I look forward to giving back to our members. In my free time I also coach volleyball for Bay to Bay, and enjoy skiing and playing games of all types!
