Almaden Oaks Community Center, or AOCC, is membership based swim facility that is located in the Almaden Oaks neighborhood in San Jose.
What sets AOCC apart from other cabana clubs in the area is that we have a very large grassy area to sit with plenty of shade. With certified lifeguards on duty during open hours, parents can have confidence that their children will be safe while in the water. There are also family friendly activities like board sponsored BBQs with s'mores and ice cream sundaes, candy bar bingo and cardboard boat races. The AOCC strives to include all membership families into our community.
Offerings
Almaden Oaks Community Center is dedicated to serving the local community through a variety of programs. We offer swim lessons and a swim club to help develop young swimmers. We also provide our members the opportunity to utilize our grounds for parties or other events.
Almaden Oaks offers low-cost lessons to members and the general public to promote skill development for children learning to swim. Classes range from 3-5 students of similar skill levels.
For those who want a personalized instruction in a one on one setting, the AOCC offers private lessons. Our instructors work to craft a personalized development plan for each student. Private lessons are available for both children and adults.
As a swimmer improves, they may feel ready to master new skills and face new challenges. Our non-competitive swim club led by our head lifeguard emphasizes stroke refinement, along with training various diving techniques, treading water, and racing turns to students
AOCC members can host parties, ranging from small get-togethers to large events, which include exclusive use of the patio area and grills. All you have to do is bring the food, drinks, and fun!
Heated Pool
Our 1300 square foot L-shaped pool is perfect for families looking to beat the heat during summer. The pool is heated to extend our swim times into the summer nights!
Spacious Lawn Area
The pool grounds include one continuous lawn area spanning the facility, allowing families to sit or play in the shade of the iconic AOCC palm tree.
Barbecues
Grill to your heart's delight in the patio area! The AOCC has 2 gas barbecues available to members on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Bocce Court
Discover your love for bocce with our hand built playing field. Members can utilize the AOCC bocce set to challenge friends and family to a game during our operating hours.
